It was April 8, 1993 aforetime the sun hid itself, in words and deed, when a gift of life was given to her parents by God. One of her sister, Hazmn was hiding herself on the ceiling to glimpse her popping out. The whole family was delighted for having the fourth and youngest fruit from their tree. (Really?) She’s the daughter of Nenita and Albert. Another is that she is the sibling of Haydn, Hayzl and Hazmn. They laugh unconditionally when seeing her smile. Most often, she cried out loud where no one was nauseating. However, that’s really the thing that makes a child unique- relieving stress. This little child grown-up different from some of those who had same of her age. At the age of 4 she was the one who’s choosing the clothes she’ll be wearing and without the help of her mother or whoever, she can even dress on her own. Uncertainly, they were accompanied by her when they were buying clothes, especially when it’s for her.
Another year added to her age. She was taught together with her sisters to responsibly commit a duty in the church as choir member in her early age. She learned how to carry out her task, though the family had maid. So, it came the beginning of her life as a student. The teachers, being her new parents and the school, another home for her. A child is a child, and being a child can never be departed from being naughty. She was hard-headed sometimes. On such days, way back of her first grade in elementary, she didn’t want her mother or father to leave her in the classroom. So, what do you expect? Yes. Either her mother or father was sitting beside her when the class was ongoing. Apparently, they decided to send her in school when she’s ready to be unaccompanied. Time came that she got ready, actually it was just a year after. There was an advantage of doing that thing. She could cope with her classmates giving her the chance to be the leader frequently. Fortunately since grade one up to grade six of her elementary life she is the top of the class. She graduated March 2006. This was not to praise her but only to show that we can always wait for the right time. For others, she had born to be an achiever but for her perception, her family is only giving inspirations for that abilities and God, who’s always there is guiding her.
This child swiftly approaching maturity. She was on her high school life. As to the terms of academic, she maintained her place. She was appointed or nominated as President in some school organizations. Who could ever forget to experience ride in an airplane? She experienced that during her third year since they had a Leadership Convention in Iloilo City. She is one of the student leader participants that went there. That was just one of the incredible experiences she was got involved in their school activities. Just like other youths, she was prejudiced by her peers. At times, she came home late that was making her parents yell at her. However, she could still manage her and so she graduated March 2010 making her speech on stage for the second time, in front of her classmates, teachers, friends, acquaintances, family and relatives. Again, her parents were at sure proud of her.
After high school, there’s still having tasks to perform. These tasks are very much unusual from the typical practices done during childhood. It’s much more complex for it is the preparation for the near future. People should not stick up of what they have right now. They must see things as possibilities not limitations. Men need to explore things, make new circle of friends and learn from them.
That was her insight when she was just setting up her college life. All of her sister, her three sisters were all graduated from New Era University. So for her, what course or what school will she be enrolling? Anyway, she is full scholar for the first semester in any school of her choice. She just needs to maintain it to become constant scholar. She didn’t want to go off the same university of her sisters. She had a lot of options, together with her high school friends; she was taking up entrance exam with different school. Fortunately, she passed in all of those exams except for UPCAT. See? She didn’t pass with the UPCAT, she was just really like others risk-takers- sometimes failed.
Her mother still made the last choice, what else could it be? Of course, New Era University. In words and action she favors honesty that at first she didn’t really see herself walking with her classmates wearing the school uniform of NEU. Well, look where she is now after the first class of June 13, 2010. She is not regretting about everything. Her perception is now well since she can assure security and peace of mind from any harm. All is well! (Rancho from 3 Idiots, is that you?)
The fruit, the baby has now turned into a lady. She is now enjoying 18 years of her existence. She is currently studying at New Era University in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. She is one of the students aspiring to wear the toga with yellow lace and march in New era University. She is one of those who are struggling for success. There are a lot of x-men (that is how they call the BSA no more) and she is praying to be not one of the cliques. For now, she is doing her best.
As early as now, she is looking forward for her future. She is after her family and parents’ expectations from her. To be trusted and become a Certified Public Accountant and giving honor to the Almighty God are the goals of HERZAVET REYES ROSANES.
